This mixture should be sown on all clay soils and uses species typically found on this soil type, including the following:

- Bulbous Buttercup (Ranunculus bolbosus)
- Common Vetch (Vicia sativa)
- Knapweed (Centaurea nigra)
- Lady’s Bedstraw (Galium verum)
- Lesser Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)
- Oxeye Daisy (Lecanthemum vulgare)
- Salad Burnet (Sanguisorba minor)
- Self Heal (Prunella vulgaris)
- Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum)
- Wild Carrot (Daucus carota)
This seed mix will produce a variety of different coloured flowers in a short space of time, providing attractive ground cover as well as attracting insects and butterflies.
