Formal Grass Seed without Ryegrass

This 'Formal' Grass Seed is a high quality seed that produces an attractive, fine, dense quality sward for use on non Ryegrass ornamental lawns and landscape areas. The inclusion of Rhizomatous grasses provides resistance and strength to the sward. With its fine appearance and reduced mowing it is suitable for formal quality lawns and landscape areas.

The ‘Formal’ Grass Seed mix is made up of the following:

  • 25% Raymond – Chewings Fescue
  • 20% Dawson – Slender Creeping red Fescue
  • 50% Felix - Strong Creeping red Fescue
  • 5% Highland – Browntop Bent

In addition to being a top quality grass and seed, it is also treated with Headstart, a non-toxic treatment to help your grass get off to the best possible start.
